Ingredients
350 g rigatoni
¼ cup fresh oregano
½ cup fresh basil
50 g Parmesan cheese
3 - 6 Garlic cloves minced
2 tbsp. chili flakes
2 tbsp. tomato paste
350 ml heavy cream
Olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Serve with Parmesan cheese and chili flakes
Directions
Step 1
Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions, then drain, reserving a cupful of the cooking water.
Step 2
Meanwhile, finely chop the basil and oregano.
Step 3
Sizzle the garlic over medium-high heat with olive oil and add the oregano and basil. Sizzle for one minute, then add tomato paste and chili flakes then cook for 30 seconds.
Step 4
Add heavy cream and cook for another 2 minutes. Add rigatoni, pasta water, salt parmesan, and mix.
Step 5
Mix over medium heat for about 3 minutes or until you get a smooth and creamy texture.
